"the weak Atlantic division"

I'm not sure if you're just referencing where they all sit in the standings, but this division is anything but weak.

Sabers are starting to drop fast, just not as fast as the Habs have been.

When all is said and done, I suspect Toronto and T-bay (which have 3-4 games in hand on most teams ahead of them) will get into the playoffs.

Not looking good again this year...

At least Evans picked up his game and Vejdemo is still solid.

If these Atlantic teams could play defense and/or get solid goaltending, they'd be running the East.

5 out of the top 10 teams by GF are Atlantic and 6 of 11 by GF 5 on 5

The +9.5 Mil goalie club has been playing quite sub-par this season. (Price, Vasilevskiy, Bobrovsky)

meh... I could see BOS - FLA - TB finishing 123 in the division.
BUF, TOR and MTL could all miss the playoffs

I also like Florida. Bobrovsky is just too good to be playing this bad. But I think Toronto would edge out a Metro team for a wildcard spot.

I think the GF debate loses a good amount of credibility when you take into account the lack of goaltending in the division and having the esteemed honor of getting to play “NHL teams” like Detroit and Ottawa 4 times each

Which means 3 losses... this team poops the bed against crap teams and then pulls out good games against good ones.

Go figure.

"the Canadiens' lack of depth is cruelly exposed right now."

Gee, if only a GM could figure out how to remedy this??

Dep is hard.
